Hubby and I had a Friday night tour with Marcello as part of our trip to Naples. This was by far one of the highlights of our trip. Not only did we get to try some of Naple's best food and drink, we also had a delightful time with our tour guide. Marcello was so knowledgeable about Naple's history and culture, and he was friendly, funny, and welcoming. We enjoyed meeting his friends and family at the last stop and learning all about Neopolitan traditions and language. Our guide, Aldo was excellent. His passion for both food and the city of Naples was obvious. He had everything coordinated perfectly, so we were able to walk into each location and get served effortlessly and he found spots that we absolutely could not have found ourselves. He educated us on the history of the city as we walked through and served us both the best Sfogliatelle we had in the city and the best eggplant I've had anywhere. After the tour concluded, he was happy to provide additional recommendations within the city of for the other stops on our trip. The ones we were able to try were all delicious. I was very happy to take this tour early in my visit and I only wish I could go back and eat more!
The Napoli Food Tour with Aldo was a highlight of our 19 day vacation. Best food tour we’ve experienced. Stops for coffee, pasta omelette and Neaples pizza were woven seamlessly into our walk. Aldo didn’t partake in coffee, pastries or the omelette - we found out why. He was holding back. The award winning pizza was the best ever and don’t get too full prior to lunch like we did! Aldo was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor! He adapted the tour to our needs, as we had two young boys with us, and WOW was it hot!! I would recommend him, and these tours, too anyone wanting to learn a little more about the food and its history in the city.

We only had a short visit in Naples, but this tour absolutely made it. Aldo is passionate about food and this region, and you can't resist joining in on the enthusiasm. We loved eating and drinking our way through the city, but more than anything, we loved the people.
My daughter and I had our tour yesterday with Marcello and we could not have been more satisfied. Our group was small and personal and he felt more like a friend than guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and his passion for his city was very apparent. He was able to answer all our questions and the food was delish! Aldo was a fantastic, flexible, funny guide. This was our second Eating Europe tour (first was in Rome) and both were excellent. I would highly recommend these tours in whatever city they're available in. The guides, like Aldo, give some history of the liston as well as its relation to its cuisine.
We had a great time in Naples! The hosts were so knowledgeable and relatable, very easy conversation and they both had diverse experiences to share for anyone traveling. The stops were well spaced on timing, and provided nice range of tastes/flavors. We got our steps in, but needed when eating 😊 Trying to find 1 favorite stop but there were many.....the olives, parm, Neapolitan pizza, salami and wine were delicious. Making my own pizza was entertaining and tasted amazing! The rooftop view made me want to move to Italy! Great 4 hours, book it!
What an amazing time we had on this walking food tour! If I could give it a 6 out of 5 (or a 11 out of 10) I would. Marcello was the best guide ever! He was warm, fun and knowledgeable. I feel we got to know about the real Naples. I also feel we made a friend. The rooftop experience was spectacular. I cannot say enough good things about this tour. Don’t miss it! Would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Naples!! We learnt so much about this fascinating city while eating delicious Neapolitan food. The sfogliatella was amazing and we liked the spaghetti omelette so much we are going to attempt to make it back home! Our guide Aldo was super knowledgeable, friendly and fun. Our guide was so passionate and knowledgeable, this was much more than just a gastronomic delight. He combined the history of the city with the most authentic dishes, altogether making this an unforgettable experience. Pizza was the best I have ever eaten, period. Would never ever have eaten deep-fried pasta -but you must - it's great. Highly recommended.
It's well organised tour, the tour guide is great and really knew what he was talking about. He showed so much interest in us and our experience. Only had one day in Naples but god I wish we had more. This tour was so good and we got to try some delicious food and learn about the history of the food culture in Napoli. The walking aspect wasn’t too intense as most of the places were situated quite close together. We did the rooftop tour and it was so worthwhile, only had 1 other person in our tour group it truly felt like a private tour, would definitely recommend and can’t wait to come back to Napoli again!!!
